RESEARCH - 1 st Xbox 360 was unveiled to the public 12 th May 2005. - Main competitors are Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii - Xbox has sold over 68.3 million units Three of the previous Xbox adverts have been banned.

TARGET AUDIENCE Current target audience, males 12-17, females 25-34. Games with higher BBFC/PEGI ratings will appeal for older audiences. Extend on customers we have. Want to focus on the console, not a game. Want to appeal to people that haven’t had an Xbox 360, but may have had other consoles, we want to show people what’s best. Want to show Xbox 360 is for all ages and gaming can be enjoyed for many years.
