God of light, help us to see that even with the smallest amount of faith, we can do anything you ask of us. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Alleluia, Alleluia
6
A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Glory to you, Lord The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ
7
Alleluia, Alleluia
8
I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today? What did the apostles ask Jesus to do? What difference can faith make to our lives? How can we help our faith to grow?
9
Faith helps us to pray and prayer helps us to believe. It is when we pray that the flickering flame of faith burns within our hearts more brightly. The flame fills our lives with the light of Christ so that we can see the way to follow him and warms our hearts with Christ’s love to share with the world.
10
The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray for all who hold and teach the Christian faith; may it be firmly rooted in our hearts and lives Lord in your mercy Lord hear our prayer… We pray for an end to hatred and fear in our world. May we work together to share the gift of Christ’s peace Lord in your mercy Lord hear our prayer… We pray for the poor and the hungry may we recognise and meet their needs. Lord in your mercy Lord hear our prayer…
11
The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the sick and all who are in pain; may their faith in God’s love bring them comfort and healing. Lord in your mercy Lord hear our prayer…
12
Knowing that our heavenly Father is listening, in the silence of our hearts let us share our unspoken prayers with Him.
13
Let us say this prayer together Loving Father Increase our faith and make our lives A perfect offering to you. We make these and all our prayers Through Jesus Christ your beloved Son Amen
14
We are going to sing our hymn now. During the hymn could one person from each class come and collect your mission for your class focal point.
15
Father, I Place into Your Hands Father, I place into your hands The things that I can’t do. Father, I place into your hands The things that I’ve been through. Father, I place into your hands The way that I should go, For I know I always can trust you.
16
Father, I place into your hands My friends and family. Father, I place into your hands The things that trouble me. Father, I place into your hands The person I would be, For I know I always can trust you.
17
Father, we love to see your face, We love to hear your voice. Father, we love to sing your praise And in your name rejoice Father, we love to walk with you And in your presence rest For we know we always can trust you.
18
Father I want to be with you And do the things you do. Father, I want to speak the words That you are speaking too. Father, I want to love the ones That you will draw to you, For I know that I am one with you.
