HL7 OHT Charter Eclipse Static Model Designer – Key Feature’s  EMF centric  GEF,GMF for graphical editing  Import of MIF 1.0 models (HL7,CfH) & MIF 2.1.2  Export to HL7 MIF 2.1.2  Rich Annotation Editor  Validation framework with visual notification.  Uses coremifs for enforcing model constraints in terms of allowed attributes in a rim class, datatypes and vocabulary binding.

8. HL7 OHT Charter Activities Update  The 0.6 version was released on 04/11/2008.  The builds were for platforms Windows, Mac & Linux.  HL7 tooling committee & CfH are actively testing the final released product.  The SMD project site https://staticmodeldesigner.projects.openhealthtools.org/ was made public on 03/10/08.  The site is used for issue tracking based on the testing feedback.  The upload of code & binaries are held due IPR/Licensing issues in using HL7 artefacts (MIF schemas, coremifs and documents).

9. HL7 OHT Charter Key Updates – HL7  HL7 Released MIF 2.1.3 schemas, this requires adaption for import and export in phase – II.  Vocab binding principles needs implementation in phase – II.

10. HL7 OHT Charter What’s Next  Further continue testing 0.6 and capture issues and enhancements requests.  Resolve HL7 IPR/Licensing issues in order to upload src & binaries into charter repository.  Next phase is in early inception.
