2 THREE TYPES OF ADJECTIVES SHORT ADJECTIVES (one syllabe and some two-syllabe adj.) – Big – Wide LONG ADJECTIVES (two and more syllabes) – Interesting – Intelligent IRREGULAR ADJECTIVES – Good – Bad – Far

3 SHORT ADJECTIVES We add –ER to short adjectives – If it ends in „-e“, we add „-r“ WidewideR NiceniceR LargelargeR LatelateR

4 SHORT ADJECTIVES We add –ER to short adjectives – If it ends in a short vowel + single consonant, we double the consonant and add „-er“ HothotTER BigbigGER WetwetTER
