5. 1.where does blues music come from? It comes from African songs. 2. what does the word ”rap” mean? We can find the answer in the third paragraph. In rap music, the singer or “rapper” will speak or “rap” the words along with the beat. 3. why is Latin music so popular in the Us? Is it popular in China? Because in the Us, where there are many Spanish- speaking people, and Latin music is popular in Spanish-speaking countries. But it is not popular in China.

Words and phrases: 1.On the radio= over the radio = by radio Eg: I listened to the weather forecast on/ over the radio every morning. 2.A world of : a lot of Eg: there’re a world of people in this town. 3. Have (much, little, none…) in common with : 与某物 有．．．共同之处 Eg:1). 我们的生活方式与上一辈的完全不同． Our life style has none in common with the last generation’s. 2). 这两本书在内容上有点相似． These two books have a little in common in their contents. 4.A variety of : a lot of adj. the variety of : “… 的多样性 ” n. Eg: the variety of ideas is decided by people’s different life experiences.
