Elizabeth Eckford
Elizabeth Eckford was fifteen years old when she attended Central high school. She was the one who brought international to Little rock. She was first turned away by Central high school international guards. Since she did not graduate from CHS, she in listed in the army.

Melba Pattillo Beals
Melba Beals finished a school year at central high school, because the school shut down for a year, she finished school in Santa Rosa, California. Melba wrote a book about her life and torment at central high school.

Ernest Green
Ernest Green was the only senior in Little Rock 9 who attended Central High school. Because he was a senior he became the only male out of Little Rock 9 to graduate from that high school. Martin Luther King attended Ernest’s graduation.

Jefferson Thomas
Thomas Jeffersn was a sophomore at an all black school, Dumbar Junior School. He volunteered to o to Central high school during is sophomore year. Since he had a great since of humor the torment he got from the white kids was a joke to him. He graduated central high school in 1960, then attended Wayne state university in Detroit.

Terrence Roberts
Terrance Robert entered Central High School for his junior year In Even though he had the torment from white kids he finished his year there. As a result of Central high school closing down he moved his family to Los Angelo's, California and finished his senior year at Los Angelo's High school.

Carlotta Walls LaNier
Carlotta Walls LaNier was the youngest member of the Little Rock 9. She never cared about torment she focused on her studies; when school closed down she waited a year to return to CHS.

13. Minnijean Brown-Trickey
Minnijean brown was a student at Central high school. Minnijean was the first to become suspended from Central High School. After her suspension she was expelled for retaliating. After that she moved down to New York and lived with two women Physiologist who ended up having a big role in Brown vs. Board of education.

Gloria Ray Karlmark
As much as Gloria hated the torment she kept quit because she new how important education was to her parents. When Central High School closed following year, Gloria moved to Kansas City and graduated from Kansas City Central High School.

Thelma Mother Shed finished her junior year at central high school. As a result of Central high school shutting down she earned credit it correspondence courses, she receive the diploma from Central in he mail.

How they did it?
Little Rock 9 fought their own personal fight to keep them safe. They followed the rules of the school except when they went on the campus. Confronted by a huge angry crowd and then was escorted the Screaming Eagles of the 101st Airborne. One of the members moved schools and then came back afterwards. Five out of the six members of Little rock nine stayed until of the end of the year.

Why they did it?
Little rock nine wanted equally educated just like whites. They tried fighting in every ways, but they’re teenagers that don’t have enough powers to fight these people who are against them. Before attending Central all nine attended segregated school Little Rock public school under of federal troops assign by president Eisenhower. Lastly, they wanted to prove to the whites that they can go to all whites school.

What they did?
Little Rock 9 stood up for what they believed. Little rock 9 were 9 students who tried to enter Central high school. They were turned down by national guards but that didn’t stop little rock 9; they soon tried to re-enter the high school. Once they were allowed inside the high school the guards were sent to lead them, they weren't fully safe with the guards. They still had to live with daily torment from the white kids.

When they did it?
Little rock 9 entered the high school on September 4, National guards sent out by the governor. The guards escorted the students, they told them to never try too come in again. After they were escorted off premises they soon came back and then were allowed in with guards to guard them. The students went through daily torment.
