Developed in 1949 at Cornell University by Walter Pauk. Designed in response to frustration over student test scores. Meant to be easily used as a test study guide. 5 Using Inquiry Questions
purpose of creating questions is to deepen your understanding of the information in your notes You will learn to ask higher level questions appropriate to your subject area In AVID you will learn about Costa’s Levels of Inquiry. This will teach you about different types of questions you should use in your notes. 26
