Remember some family members consider Vladimir to be a traitor and will report you to the KGB. Look at family pictures, read letters from the Gulag and find out all you can about Vladimir’s past. Only one family member will help you get the book into the right hands. By the end of this event you will have to decide which family member you will visit next.

Some of Vladimir’s siblings are still scared that they are being watched by the government. If they learn of the book they may turn you in to the local police. You have to decide who is trustworthy.

Look for dates, names, places. Learn as much as you can about the people shown in the picture and mention in the letters. When you meet brother Ivan mention these places and dates to him, he will help to lead you to your next clue. If you are unfamiliar with these names look them up online or ask Valeria. 7. Valeria has told you about Vladimir’s family. You know that you have to find the sibling that will help you to do what Vladimir would have wanted with the book. Who will you choose? Click on the sibling that you will choose to contact. Event 8.5: Vladimir’s Past Click on the picture of the sibling of whom you wish to contact. This will bring up their contact information. Valeria is not on speaking terms with Ivan, so she will not be able to help you if you choose him. Once you have selected a sibling your visit to them is obligatory. Valeria can help you to make arrangements for your visit. Whether you choose to tell them about the book is up to you.
