1. Using Destiny to find books in the Shoal River Media Center

2. Click on Shoal River Middle School

3. Type in keywords, a title, or an author into the Find search box. Then hit Enter or click on Keyword, Title or Author.

4. Next, you will see a screen listing the books we have with that keyword, that title or by that author.

5. This screen will also tell you: The Call Number so you can find the book on the shelf. How many copies we have in the Media Center and how many are available for checkout. If there are 0 copies available, you can put a Reserve on the book to get a copy once it is returned.

6. If you click on the title: You can read Reviews of the book. You can see how many copies we have of the book. You can read a summary of the book. You can click on TitlePeek to get even more information.

7. You can also search by Subject or Series.

8. Type Food, then click Subject and you can find a book telling how monkeys make chocolate!

9. Type in Pendragon, then click Series and you will get a list of all the books we have in that series.

10. Click on Visual Search to locate books by looking at a categorized list.

11. If you click on Science, you will get a list of Science Topics.

12. Then, click on Solar System, to get a list of books on that topic.

13. Enjoy your Quest to find a fabulous book!
