5. 3. IRON ORE MINING MUSEUM (CZĘSTOCHOWA) We can see here a real underground gallery secured both by wood and steel, the pump chamber and a reconstructed mining heading with the original machinery. In the exhibition room we can observe many technological curiosities and the local history of mining. At the end we can see a film showing the history of local mining industry. 7. 4. GUIDO COAL MINE (ZABRZE) Two levels are available: 170 m and 320m. Each level shows old mining tools, equipment and machinery. In the area there is also the `Art Level’ („Poziom Sztuki”) having a cinema, an art gallery and a theatre.

9. 5.MUSEUM OF COAL MINING (ZABRZE) It’s a multimedia journey to old mining excavation sites with the corresponding sounds of underground mining work. We can observe the different ways of coal mining, coal transport and passages ventilation. In addition here is the exposition of mining tools and equipment (there is an authentic coal combine presented in the yard), lighting technology and underground telecommunication equipment. 11. 6. HISTORIC SILVER COAL MINE (TARNOWSKIE GÓRY) The lead, silver and zinc ores were excavated in Tarnowskie Góry. First it was being done by a quarry then the shafts and passages were constructed, forming a mine. 13. 7. THE SILESIAN PLANETARIUM (CHORZÓW) The Silesian Planetarium was established in 1955 to celebrate the memory of great Polish astronomer - Nicolaus Copernicus. It was equipped with the projecting devices placed under the 23-metres dome forming the screen of artificial sky. The hemispherical screen can show the outlook of the sky from each place and time of the Earth. CENTRE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (GOCZAŁOWICE ZDRÓJ) Here you can get some information about meteorology, renewable energy, the local water dam and observe the Sun using a telescope – all in a friendly and interesting way. The great discoveries will certainly be the construction of space rocket or the possibility of observing sunspots. 21. 10. EXPERIMENTARIUM (ŁÓDŹ) The Experimentarium in Łódź is a part of the Manufaktura Centre. It’s not a typical theme park, it’s a Centre of Science where you can observe and understand different (and even complicated) science puzzles. 25. 12. THE SCIENCE AND HUMAN EVOLUTION PARK (KRASIEJÓW) The Science and Human Evolution Park enables to get some knowledge about our ancestors with the usage of the up-to-date technology. In the Park you can attend a marvellous time travel - even 66 million years BC when life on Earth was in the brink of extinction. It was the end of giant dinosaurs age. You set out on the time-and-space travel by a space shuttle.
