Summary TThroughout the course of the semester, I have learned many beneficial techniques about designing multimedia projects that can be used in my classroom. TThe following slides discuss some of the things that I have learned.
3
Project 1 – “My Life” TThe “My Life” Project introduced me to PowerPoint and how to use it to create an effective multimedia. IIt taught me how to upload images and audio. IIt also taught me how to use animation to give the presentation more appeal.

Project 2 – “Kiosk” TThe “Kiosk” Project helped to teach me about uploading video into PowerPoint. TThis project was very beneficial because I can use something very similar in my classroom or as an introduction at my school’s Open House.
7
Project 3 – “How To” TThe “How To” Project taught me about all of the planning necessary to create an instructional video. II loved this project because something very similar can be used for Homebound Students who are unable to be in class because of a given situation. TThis type of multimedia will keep Homebound students interested in class and help keep them updated on new material.

Project 4 – “eBook” TThe “eBook” placed me outside of my comfort zone. However, I enjoyed it because it allowed me to be creative. AAs a high school mathematics teacher, I am not allowed the free range that I was given in this project. AAlthough I enjoyed this project, I am not sure how I can use a project like this in my classroom.

Conclusion IIn conclusion, this course has allowed me to experience the many features of PowerPoint that are available to me and how to use those features to create an effective, instructional multimedia project.
