Concept Summary : Concept Summary : n n Prime n A whole number that has exactly two factors, 1 and the number itself. n 11, 13, 25 n Composite n A number greater than 1 with more than two factors. n 6, 10, 18 n Neither prime nor composite n 1 has only one factor. O has an infinite number or factors. n 0, 1

. Identify Prime and composite, or neither n 28: 1, 2, 4, 7, 14, and 28. Since there are more than 2 factors it is a composite number. n 11: 1 and 11. Since there are exactly two factors, 1 and the number itself, 11 is a prime number.
