4  To build a free standing structure that can support a ‘beacon’ without falling over!

5 Class 1 built a house for Alexander and an outdoor den

6 Class 2 tried to make a tower. They were only allowed one piece of newspaper each and a straw!

7 Class 3 also tried to make a tower

8 Class 4 made a selection of bridges which had to be strong enough to support a car

10 They also built some lego towers, inspired by Blackpool Tower!

11 Class 2 made some very large junk model animals to tie in with their current topic work

12 Class 1 also made some junk model houses

13 We displayed all our hard work in the hall at the end of the day

14 We invited people in to see the children’s fantastic work

15 Well done everyone! Structures Day was a great success!
