2 ACCESSING RUBRICS Performance-Based Exams

3 To begin, click the Assessments button from the eDoctrina homepage… Accessing Rubrics

4 Use the filters to locate the correct exam. Hint: Use as few filters as possible. If you are unable to locate the exam click the ‘Reset filters’ button to start over. Type “slo” in the search field to filter the list of assessments quickly. Be patient… it can take some time to load the exams.

5 Click the Attachment link to download the rubric file…

6 ENTERING STUDENT RESPONSES Performance-Based Exams

7 Click Teachers Dashboard to begin…

8 Starts with a two step process: 1.Select Students then… 2.Select the Assessment.

9 If your screen is showing extra filters, click the Hide more filters button to hide the unnecessary filters… Select Students

10 Select your Course… Hint: there may be more courses than shown here; an easy way to filter is to start typing the name of the course in the Search field (you can do this for all filters) Select Students

11 Select your class or classes from the Class menu… Hint: You can enter results for one class at a time, or any combination of multiple classes (of the same course) by selecting the desired class(es) Select Students

12 Select your students… Hint: to enter results for all students in the class/classes you selected leave All Students (the default value) selected… Select Students

13 Select your Subject… This field is optional, but will narrow the list of Assessments if you use it. Hint: in the Search field, start typing the subject to quickly filter the list Select Assessment

14 Select the Assessment… Hint: in the Search field, start typing the exam name or exam number to quickly filter the list Select Assessment

15 To Print a Roster of your students, click the Individual Student button…

16 Select Standard with Rubric Text Instead of Standards button…

17 Click the OK button…

18 Select Export to PDF button… All selected students An individual student

19 You can use this report to manually record scores for each of your students for later entry into eDoctrina...

20 To enter student scores, click the ENTER Student Responses button…

21 This will take you to the Teacher completed test page. Confirm that you will be entering results for the correct exam…

22 To begin entering results, select the first student in the roster by clicking on their name…

23 Enter the score for each criterion in the exam rubric by selecting a value from the drop-down menu…

24 Enter all scores for this student…

25 This number shows how many scores you entered for each student

26 Select the next student and continue entering scores…

27 Note: If a student was absent and did NOT take the post assessment leave all scores for that student BLANK. Do NOT enter zeros (or any other values) for students that did not take the post assessment. Leave BLANK for absent students…

28 Shortcut: Clicking the All correct button will fill in the maximum score for all questions for the selected student…

29 When you are finished, click the Save or Save & Close button…
