Introducing Polyize™ Technologies Incorporated Aug 2014

Definition POLYIZE™ – pol-ee-ahyz – adjective (used with an object), pol-y-ized, pol-y-iz-ing – Polyize™ Coating Process for Concrete and Steel -done to enhance resistance to corrosion, abrasion, impact, chemicals and water and to improve long term substrate durability -most commonly done using a thick film of fast gelling polyurea -also applies to gap and void filling where fast set is needed -brand developed by Polyize Technologies Inc – July 2014 “Polyize what matters” 2

Contents The Vision The Technology The Market The Value Chain A Few Applications Our Approach 3

Vision Leading with polyurea: – Become the unquestioned preferred solution provider to our targeted applications and industries where coated surfaces’ performance and speed of coating application are critical success factors. – Profitably provide the best total chemical solution to an end user or to a high-performance component in selected assembled products. Become the leading global polyurea company 4

Positioning Statement We will: be the supplier of choice where industrial coating product and service are valued be the problem solver customers select to meet their most challenging problems be respected as the innovator in technology, application and service throughout the industrial coating applications we serve be recognized as a valued partner in meeting original equipment manufacturers needs for superior performing coated materials and component parts generate industry leading value for our stakeholders and our supply chain participants 5

Technology Dual component material – “A” a form of isocyanate, typically a partially reacted pre-polymer Usually standalone, although some limited additives can be provided by the supplier (typically not) and formulator (occasionally so) – “B” polyamine Combination of amine prepolymers and chain extenders (to control gel time and free times), pigments, UV stabilizers, antimicrobials Suppliers offer limited product line for supply to formulators and large-volume direct customers Usually applied by high-pressure plural component spray equipment, but can be formulated for low-pressure spray, roll, brush, cartridge, or extrusion. Spray coated and OEM applied Formulation can be tailored to meet specific application requirements: e.g. high chemical/solvent resistance, high elongation, extreme toughness or abrasion resistance, low MVTR, UV stability, surface effects (texture, non-slip, high gloss, color, clear), and many other special effects. 6

Technology Polyurea Reaction Polyurethane Reaction 7

Technology Features Extremely fast gel time and cure rate 2 component, 100% solids, VOC compliant, low odor Sag free application on vertical and overhead surfaces Seamless elastomeric film Excellent film build for thick film applications Can be applied at wide range of ambient and substrate temps Highly abrasion and corrosion resistant Chemical and water resistant High tensile strength, puncture and impact resistant High elongation and low temperature flexibility Low permeance and high film build to minimize water vapor transfer Adhesion to wide variety of substrates Highly customizable with formulation experience 8

Comparing Coating Solutions This is an example of a tool we plan to provide to the specifiers to provide a simple side by side comparison 9

Industrial Coatings Market Large industrial coating market with growing high performance segments Relatively new – 25 years as a coating material Scores of applications & market segments Sophisticated, committed suppliers 100+ formulators 1,000s of contractors / applicators Specifiers and end users drive coatings selection and product design Attractive material industrial coating – Top of the coating food chain in pricing, differentiation, performance – No VOCs during application 10 Sources: PPG Investor Briefing, May 17, 2012 Funded Polyurea study April, 2014 Urethane, total: IHS Urethane Surface Coating 2013; SRI Painting & Coating Overview 2013

Positive Industry Drivers Help Polyurea Decaying national infrastructure – Repair and preventative Some markets helped by market industry needs – Ex: Oil & gas down-hole and surface fluid management – Increase use of thermoplastics Value engineering – Light weighting or Down gauging – Appreciation of life valuations – Modular assembly Consumer expectations – Higher quality, appearance, performance expectations Viable means for some applications – Seismic reinforcement, force mitigation Environmental – Move to no VOC 11
