2 Download and Install the latest CentOS version and latest Ubuntu/Fedora OS. Configure a unique Host Name and a permanent IP Address for all hosts. Configure the SSH Server to start at all relevant run levels + configure the ability to connect to the Linux host with the root user. Shutdown the firewall at all runlevels and disable SElinux. Install and configure a VNC Server and connect to it from your windows host. Install an X-client on your windows host and connect to your Linux host. Linux Exercise

3 Install putty on your windows host and connect to the Linux host via SSH. Install (if you need) and configure an NFS Server and share the /tmp with your "old" Linux host (Mount the /tmp share via /etc/fstab) Create a CIFS share on your Windows host and mount it to the new CentOS via fstab. Install (if you need) and configure a SAMBA Server on your new Linux host and share the /tmp directory with your Windows host without password (map a network drive from the Windows host) Linux Exercise
