2. Teaching Objectives: To learn types of sentences. To enable to tell different types of sentences. To understand the structures of different types of sentences.

3. Declarative Sentence 1. 陈述句 He likes surfing the Internet. She cannot play computer games. They hardly know anything about it.

4. Interrogative Sentence 2. 疑问句 1 ）一般疑问句 Does he like surfing the Internet? ---Can’t she play the computer games? ---No, she can’t.

5. 2). 特殊疑问句 疑问词有 who, whose, what, which, where, when, why, how 等。 Who likes surfing the Internet? Where did he play computer games?

6. 3 ）选择疑问句 Does he like playing computer games or chatting on-line? Which do you prefer, playing computer games or chatting on-line?

7. 4) 反意疑问句 He likes surfing the car, __________? She can’t play computer games, ________? There are many computer games, _________ ? Let’s go to surf the Internet, _________? Leave me alone, ________? doesn’t he can she aren’t there shall we will you

8. Imperative Sentence 3. 祈使句 1 ）带第二人称的祈使句 Be quiet, please. Don’t make any noise! You clean the blackboard. 2 ）带第一、三人称的祈使句 Let me try again. Let’s surf the car. Let him be here by 10 o’clock.

9. Exclamatory Sentence 4. 感叹句 1) How 开头的感叹句： How+ 形容词 ( 副词 )+ 主语 + 谓语。或： How+ 形容词 +(a/an) + n. + 主语 + 谓语。 How beautiful the flower is! How fast the car travels! How clever a boy he is!

10. 2) what 开头的感叹句： What + (a/an)+ 形容词 + 名词 + 主语 + 谓语。 What a nice car it is! What fine weather (it is)!

13. 1. Simple Sentence 只有一个主语 ( 或并列主语 ) 和一个谓语 ( 或 并列谓语 ) 的句子叫简单句。 1.She knows nothing about it. 2.Tom and I like surfing the car. 3. She can’t play the computer games and knows nothing about it.

15. 2. Compound Sentence 并列句 包含两个或两个以上相互独立的简 单句构成，分句由并列连词： and, but, or, then, or else, so, for, while, when; both…and, either…or, neither…nor, not only…,but also, as well as 等来连接。

16. He is a basketball fan, and his wife is a volleyball fan. He works hard while his brother is a lazy bone. The day is broken, for the birds are singing.

17. 3.Complex Sentence 复合句是由一个主句（ Main clause ）与一个或 几个从句（ Subordinate clause ）构成。 （ 1 ）名词性从句 : what, whatever, that, which, whether, who, whom, where, how, when, why… We don’t know whether he likes playing computer games.

18. （ 2 ）定语从句 : who, whom, that, which, as, when, where, why … She is the girl who likes chatting on-line. I like surfing the Internet, which can offer a large amount of information.
