3. H OW DO YOU WRITE AN ANALOGY ? On the previous slide I showed you how to write an analogy in words now I will show you how to write an analogy a different way……. Rotund: Plump:: Kind: respectful

4. W HAT DOES AN ANALOGY DO ? An analogy compares some words like for example…….plane: air:: boat: water. You can compare these words by saying(or thinking) “Well, a plane specializes in the air an a boat specializes on water.” That is what you do in an analogy.
