3 Performance Based Contracting Initiative 3 of 1015 Feb 2007 Christine Eisner Convery / SFIM-AEC-BDP / 410-436-1572 / DSN 584-1572 / christine.convery@us.army.mil DoD 4150.7 and AR 200-5 Requirements for Contracts DoD shall use pest management contracts when cost-effective or when advantageous. Pest Management Consultants shall review and approve contract documents for pest management operations to ensure that appropriate pest management standards and IPM are specified. Installations that lack expertise in pest management should be encouraged to request the services of a DoD Pest Management Consultant to develop the technical portions of pest management contracts. Installation Commanders will forward contracts for pest management services to the Command Consultant for review. Contracts involving pest management services will meet FAR and DoD FAR requirements. Performance work statements will be written in ways that promote the Army Pest Management Program standards, goals and objectives. IPMCs will forward all contracts involving pest management services to Command Consultants for review. DoD 4150.7AR 200-5
