4 “The youth of to-day, like the youth of other days, continues to respond generously and positively whenever it is offered an authentic ideal of evangelical life led for the sake of the Kingdom and incarnate in men who manage to live it fully in the midst of to-day's world, in men who are alive to to-day's needs while also living up to all the exigencies of the Gospel.” (Bro. 6 “Formation depends, in the first place, on the man in charge of it. I want to say, with all the seriousness I can muster, that all Provincials and their Councils and Provincial Chapters, if they are approved by the General Chapter, should not hesitate to place at the head of houses of formation, the best men in the Province.” (Bro. Basilio Rueda Guzmán, “Special General Chapter”, Circular January 2nd 1968, Vol. XXIV, N° 1-5, p. 455) “Formation depends, in the first place, on the man in charge of it. 7 “Formation is nothing other than a consequence of the genetic capacity of man, of his urge for giving out and nurturing life. What is true in the biological order, is true as well in every other order of the transmission of levels of human life.” (Bro. Basilio Rueda Guzmán, “Special General Chapter”, Circular January 2nd 1968, Vol. XXIV, N° 1-5, p. 455) “Formation is nothing other than a consequence of the genetic capacity of man, of his urge for giving out and nurturing life.
