7 Friendship A. In 1 Cor. 9:19–23, Paul presents his strategy for leading people to Christ. When he was with the Jews, he lived as a Jew. What Paul is really saying here? He lives like the Jews or the Gentiles in an effort to show Christ. He does not mean that we should compromise Christ’s standards.

8 Friendship Find common ground, builds trust and friendship, and then leads them to the Savior.

9 Build trust B. What powerful point is Paul making in Galatians 4:16? When we find it necessary to confront people, We should first establish a relationship with them. We should be a person whom they love and respect.

10 Build trust We should tell them the truth with love and genuine concern for their salvation.
