4. Noun Person, place of thing Also known as the subject of the sentence. Concrete: The dog ran after the ball. Abstract: One of the themes in Romeo and Juliet is love. Proper noun is capitalized: names, holidays, months, ect.

5. Pronoun A word the takes the place of a noun in a sentence. Example: I, we, you, she, he, it, they, him, her, you, us, me, them.

6. Adjective Describes a noun Answer the following questions: Which, What kind of, How many.

What are ideas that Shakespeare repeats. Use a dictionary to find different definitions of the words. Brainstorm possible themes.
