The bridge is one of the architectural marvels of the 20th century and a testament to human strife. The Golden Gate Bridge was built in San Francisco, one of the premier skyline cities in the nation. Joseph Baerman Strauss is responsible for building the Golden Gate. He was a distinguished engineer and because of him it was a response that people said that the bridge could not be built. That is why the bridge is also known has " "Bridge that couldn't be built". Its a wonder to me because I think its important for people to know about like for example, the total cost of the bridge was $35 million.

The Hanging Gardens Of Babylon is located on the east bank of the River Euphrates, about 50 km south of Baghdad, Iraq. It is plants and gardens hanging from the palace of terraces. It was made out of stone columns because it supported it. Also streams f water that emerge from elevated sources flowing down sloping channels. I consider The Hanging Gardens Of Babylon a wonder because it is the only building that has plants on it. Also because it has a big history on its background.

The Great Wall of China is Located in China. It stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Lake in the west. It is made out of brick, granite, and sophisticated designs. Over the past few centuries, the Great Wall has served as a source of building materials for local farms and villages. I consider it a wonder because it is probably thre longest wall ever. It is 5500 miles long.

Victoria Falls is a thinder of falling water. It is lolcated in south central Africa in the Zambezi River. It is a natural landmark. No one "made" it. It was named by David Livingstone. Victoria Falls is made out of molten lava. It is a wonder to me because i think it is very beautiful, the way that the water goes down.

The statue of Liberty stands on Ellis Island in New York, USA. It also stands at more than 93 meters tall. The statue was designed by Frederic Bartholdi and completed in 1876. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French people to the United States. It's made out of pure copper hung on a framework of steel. It is a wonder to me because for me it represent the United States. Also because it has an important history on it.

It was built in 1858 thre 1859. In 2009 it celebrated 150 years. The bell was named after one Sir Benjamin Hall. It is located in central London on the north bank of the river Thames. It is made of brickwork covered by stone. Big Ben was designed by Billy MacGibbon. It is a wonder to me because it is a big clock that was named after someone important.

The Grand Canyon is located in Colorado. It measures up to 18 miles across, with an average width of 10 miles. The Grand Canyon is a powerful and inspiring landscape. The Grand Canyon itself is less than six million years old, created only since the Colorado River changed course and began flowing through the ancestral Colorado plateau. I think that its a wonder because it is the largest valley in the world.
