4 Problem Statement Objectives  Program autonomous obstacle avoidance mode  Redesign of tail system for a robust system requiring minimal maintenance  Improve aesthetics of the fish  The objective of this project is to create an aquatic robot, dubbed RoboFish, that is capable of obstacle avoidance (1.5 body lengths apart) using onboard sensors and completely autonomous control. The McKibben muscles will be used in order to provide locomotion.
