3 What is a Sugar Glider? Sugar gliders are marsupials that originally come from Australia or Indonesia. They are tree dwelling, nocturnal creatures. 6 Housing Sugar Gliders When it comes to sugar gliders, bigger is better! It is best to give them the tallest cage possible, at lest 3 feet. Stuff to put inside your cage: 1. Nest box or pouch 2. Non-toxic branches/perches 3. Food and water dish 4. Toys (ladders, mirrors, rings, etc.) 5. Bedding 6. Plastic or metal tray

7 Acceptable pets or not? Pros 1. Sugar gliders are very affectionate and are very loyal pets. 2. Very nice and enjoy playing. 3. Can be tamed. Cons 1. Need at least four hours of attention a day. 2. Must be fed fresh food DAILY 3. Will be up at night (when you are not) due to the fact that they are nocturnal.
