10  Employee Connect enhancements – cosmetic and feature (bulletin board, webform, staff directory).. Get employees including Sub/Casuals to engage/participate in the staff portal!  Online Leaves – constant enhancement to every level (EC entry, AC approval, AC view, integration to Sub, reporting)  Workshops & District Calendar – constant enhancements so districts will utilize it and reduce use of all other workshop S/W and calendars  Staff Allocation and position control … Visually see and participate in your staff & their allocation

11  Adding HUGE amount of automated nightly jobs (email approvers, create EC userids, email job subscribers, autobuild sub records, …)  Security/Audit: In CIMS we know who changed what/when. Now in EC,AC we know when they signed in, what screen they went into, what documents they viewed. KEY: This will confirm our online/efile credibility!  Re-working customer codes.. Reduce Job Codes, Re-do position codes, re-do leave codes, re-do absence codes.. AND all the history.. Crazy amount of dangerous work on our part.. But necessary! Topic for forum – what is your thought on us taking away ‘A’dd / ‘D’elete to key codes???

12  Integration to New SmartFind and New AESOP Sub Call S/W.. No easy task and VERY custom per customer  Integration to Active Directory, SmarterU, Synrevoice … goal is to reduce administration effort  New Staff.csv placed in /cimsinfo/staff.csv.. Use with Synrevoice & SmarterU  Uses same F11 logic as nightly job to get all current staff (not casuals unless you have them F11ed) … Disregards anyone with a NOSYN category  Synrevoice: Districts use it mainly for school closures (Interlake, Hanover)  SmarterU: Download of employees for online course software (Winnipeg)  Implement H/R and Payroll Hanover, Lord Selkirk, Interlake  Significant Payroll re-training (SD23, Interlake, Northern College, Brandon, Hanover)

For use when PRO.100 is too generic, i.e. you want to assign a userid to teacher  PRO.300 H/R Position Information  Upper/Lower case ADDL TITLE field.. Use of Title & Position and Subtype  Indicate REPORTS TO information on right side IF PRO.200 exists, else show certificate and endorsement information as before  Disallow WORK LOCATION and LOCATION to be the same. No need to specify it both places if they are the same, only use if different. i.e. works in Maintenance at a specific school  NEW PAY.497 (Emps missing required documents.. Add to Adminconnect so Admin can help ensure employees hand stuff in

15  District Calendar  Customer use of Leaves, Job Postings, Workshops  Implement/Enhance the New Hire Application  Mobile App for employees to book their urgent leave  Mobile App for Administrators to approve leaves  Begin thinking about an online Sub booking module..
