To split up – to no longer work together as a group. Devastated – extremely upset Solo artist – someone who performs as a singer by themselves Solo project – to do something by yourself e.g. Become a solo artist, work as an actor. Album – a collection of songs by an artist that can be bought on CD, MP3 etc. Single – a song from the album, released by itself. Comeback kings – to have come back very successfully Man-band – a boy-band who have now grown up. For example Take That.
