2. The most famous nu-metal band is Slipknot. This band have formed in 1995 but the first mentions of them related to the 1992. The band had a break for 6 years but this year they converged and have released a new album.5:The Gray Chapter. All members of the band are from Des Moines, Iowa, except Jim Root, he’s from Las Vegas, Nevada. I guess it’s the most large band: it has 9 members.

3. Now I want to tell you about members of Slipknot. Corey Taylor is a frontman of the band. As you noticed everyone in the band has his own mask. They change their masks when new album is going to be released. On the first picture you can see Corey Taylor’s previous mask, on the picture under the first one – his present mask. The masks show these people’s internal character. Well, Corey Taylor was born in 1973, so he’s 40 now. He’s also a frontman of Stone Sour. But he isn’t only known as musician and song-writer, he writes books too. “Seven Daily Sins” and “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Heaven” are his masterpieces. As I recalling he’s writing his third book now. Now Corey is married on Stephanie Lube.

4. Mick Thomson is the guitarist. Mostly he plays electro-guitar. This cool guy is 41 now. He’s married on Stacey Riley. Also all members of Slipknot have their numbers: Mick Thomson is #7 and Corey Taylor is #8 by the way. Because of Mick is broad-shouldered man he associates with a huge rock to me.

5. It would be so long to tell you about all of them, so I’ll be short in describing others. This is Craig Jones (#5). He’s my favorite in the band. Just he plays the piano too as me. This is Chris Fehn (#3). He’s percussionist. I know that he’s also an abstractionist artist. This is Joey Jordison (#1).He’s the previous member of Slipknot. He’s the best drummer in the World. This is Jim Root (#4). He’s guitarist.

6. This is Shawn Crahan (#6). He’s percussionist. This is Sid Wilson (#0). He’s the DJ and keyboardist of the band. This is Paul Gray (#2). Unfortunately, he died in 2010. He was a bassist. This is Jay Wainberg. He’s the new Slipknot’s drummer. This is Alessandro Venturella. He’s a new bassist instead of Paul Gray.

7. My favorite Slipknot’s song is “Duality”. I also love “Before I Forget”, “Psychosocial”, “Dead Memories”. And also “The Negative One” from their new album.

8. Blood Red Shoes Blood Red Shoes is an alternative rock duo from Brighton, England. The members of the band are: Laura-Mary Carter is a guitarist of the band. Steven Ansell is a drummer. The band formed in the late 2004. They also play indie-rock, punk-rock, grunge and post-punk. My favorite songs are “Cold”, “An Animal” and “Speech Coma”.

9. The Wytches The Wytches is a fantastic band formed in Peterborough, England, in 2011. The members are: Kristian Bell (he’s in the middle on pics) is a vocalist and guitarist. Daniel Rumsey (left one on the 1st and 3rd pics) is bassist and back vocalist. Gianni Honey (one with short hair) is a drummer. My favorite The Wytches song is “Robe for Juda”. They have a nice video of this song by the way. Their sound is mystic and so unusual. The Kristian’s voice is also amazing! I think this name of the band is so suitable for them!

10. Nine Black Alps Nine Black Alps is a band which includes 4 members. It formed in Manchester, England, in 2003. The frontman is Sam Forrest. He was born in 1977. He also plays in band The Sorry Kisses, but I don’t like it. NBA perform alt.rock and post-grunge. My favorite songs are: “Just Friends” “Come Back Around” “Don’t Forget To Breathe” “Supermarket Clothes” “Get Your Guns”

11. TIGERCUB TIGERCUB was formed in Brighton, England, in 2011. The band includes 3 members: Jamie Stephen Hall is the tallest man in it, he’s a vocalist and lead guitarist. He was born in 1990. James Wheelwright is the shortest in the band, he is a bassist. James Alexander Allix is a drummer. He was born in 1986. My favorite TIGERCUB’s song is “Centrefold”. These guys have just started their career, so they have about 5 songs, but these songs are quite great. I hope they’ll play together for many years, so we can enjoy their music.

12. It’s not all bands that I listen to. I also prefer such genres as hardcore (Asking Alexandria) and post-hardcore (Pierce The Veil, Blessthefall, I See Stars) and also different kinds of metal. But the varieties of rock are also valuable for me. I hope my presentation has opened you some new knowledge and you have enjoyed it. Thanks for attention! ☺
