2 Accurate Documentation – Understanding of definition of service provided. How to use units/hours Understanding definitions clearly. Do you understand how to count units/hours for service – Is training provided how often? Is there ongoing training, to include changes to units/hours. How many are informed as to number units/hours to be provided in the FY? – Is information shared when your Director attends training for any changes. (briefings) Are meeting/trainings called to inform you of changes after a director attend a meeting? – Provides for credibility The information you collect is your responsibility. – Determine if program goals are (units) met. Do you know what the over program goals are for services? Is the data you collect reviewed for correctness and how often. Do you discuss any changes you have noticed in numbers of participant access your service. How often? It is the programs responsibility to make sure all data is correct before it is submitted for entry

3 Review/Monitoring How accurate is your documentation. – Program responsibility to catch and correct errors. Ask questions. The correct documentation, review and monitoring assists your decision making authorities in the budget process. – To determine budget for vehicle repair – For the new RFP – Capital Outlay – Your information submitted could make or break your program.

4 Submission of required Data Lets AAA know that program goals are met/not met – If you find an error it is your responsibility to notify the AAA Data collected is used in Financial decision making – Historical Data The documentation provided (correct or incorrect) could make or break a program. The information submitted by you generates reports from your program to the AAA who submits to ALTSD for reimbursement to your program for units provided.
