A knowledge we are born with EX: recognition of symbols, images, and meanings of objects EX: religion, fairy tales, myths, dreams

5 Archetypes The contents of the collective unconscious. Unlearned tendency to experience or perceive something in a certain way EX: Mother, Father, child, hero, maiden, wise old man Persona: Represents your public image. The person we want others to think we are. The mask we put on

6 Jung’s Typology-introversion and extroversion Introversion: Prefer internal world of thoughts, feelings, fantasies, and dreams. Focused towards the collective unconscious and its archetypes Extroversion: Prefer the external world of things and people and activities. Focused on the persona and outer reality
