5. PROJECT PURPOSE SUPPORT THE COORDINATION OF PROGRAMMES AND PROJECTS DIRECTORATE WITHIN THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT IN THE PROCESS OF PREPARATION FOR ACTING AS MANAGING AUTHORITY OF THE SECTORAL OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME ON TRANSPORT FOR THE PERIOD 2007- 2013;

COMPONENTS OF THE TWINNING PROJECTS COMPONENT A SETTING UP FRAMEWORK FOR THE MANAGING AUTHORITY OF SOPT COMPONENT B SUPPORT IN PREPARATION OF PROJECTS PIPELINE COMPONENT C SUPORT IN PREPARATION OF PROCEDURES, MANUALS AND GUIDELINES COMPONENT D ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF MONITORING COMMITTEE FOR MANAGEMENT OF SOPT

ACTIVITIES UNDER COMPONENT A ACTIVITY A1 Assessment of the existing organizational structure, decision making process, information flows and internal coordination within the Managing Authority ACTIVITY A2 Assessment of the bodies involved in the implementation of the SOPT ACTIVITY 3 Assistance to the MA in reinforcing in human resources

8. ACTIVITIES UNDER COMPONENT B ACTIVITY B1 Analysis of the SOPT and proposal of an action plan for developing and implementing the projects ACTIVITY B2 Trainings and workshops of the project cycle for designing and implementing the transport infrastructure projects
