2 Stages of a Multimedia Project  Planning and costing- infrastructure, time, skills etc.  Designing and producing- perform each of the planned tasks to create a finished product  Testing- meeting objectives, platform compliance etc.  Delivering- packaging and delivery to the end user

3 Infrastructure requirement  Hardware- system, memory, monitor, audio/ video capturing devices, peripherals  Software- operating system, authoring tools, graphic designs, animation etc.

4 Multimedia Team  Project manager- coordinates the entire project  Multimedia designer- information designer, graphic designer, illustrator, animator etc  Writer- create character, action, point of view, narration, screen text, interactivity etc.  Video specialist- skilled in all phases of production from concept to final edit  Audio specialist- background music, voice over, sound effects  Multimedia programmer - integrating all multimedia elements into a seamless whole using authoring tools or programming languages
