The Provincial Nominee Program continues to develop innovative approaches to meet immigration objectives Greater partnership involvement is encouraged through five priority assessment streams and one general stream including: Employers, Communities, Family Support, International Students and Strategic initiatives Manitoba Labour and Immigration Manitoba Labour and Immigration

In 2005, over 4,600 Skilled Worker and Business Provincial Nominees landed in Manitoba In total, Manitoba Provincial Nominees account for over 56.% of provincial immigration Approximately 30% chose to live in communities outside of Winnipeg Manitoba approved over 3,000 Provincial Nominee principal applicants Manitoba Labour and Immigration Manitoba Labour and Immigration

Provincial Nominee Program The Provincial Nominee Program has enabled MB to reach its objectives quickly and is a model across the country As of 2003 MB can set its own targets through its agreement with Canada.
