Focus on Genomics, Life and Biosciences. Separate activity in Food Safety. Key Elements: Awareness, Information, Coaching, Technology Trends/Needs, Matchmaking, Training Examples of Workpackages: WP1: Start-up phase WP2: Working with SMEs WP3: Working with researchers WP4: Matchmaking, partner search WP5: Call information network WP6: Networking with Incubators and Biovalleys WP7: Liaising with EuropaBio WP8: Management and dissemination

Bureau for International Research and Technology Cooperation Herlitschka 7 SMEs go LifeSciences - Management Structure Budget handled by Core Group partners according to WPs Core Group partners are signing the contract with the EC Extended Consortium: 1 or 2 representatives per country, they sign agreement with Core Group, get paid upon tasks (subcontracting) Core Group of partners WP1: Start-up phase WP2: Working with SMEs WP3: Working with researchers WP4: Matchmaking, partner search WP5: Networking and liaising with EuropaBio WP6: Call information network WP7: Management and dissemination

Bureau for International Research and Technology Cooperation Herlitschka 8 Large Consortia: for consideration: 1 Mio Euro total costs 30 partners 30 cost certificates: Total app. 90.000 Euro Management budget (7%): 70.000 Euro è rather smaller consortia, with tasks for subcontractors
