2 Poem Objectives

3 Fish are flying in the sky And birds are in the sea
Anything is possible As you can plainly see Fish are flying in the sky And birds are in the sea Dogs are walking people And cats are walking dogs A shark is soundly sleeping While turles play with frogs Panda bears in Canada And Kangroos in boots Chameleons run around and hide In their tiny suits If you use your imagination There is nothing you can’t do If you want to write a poem Express yourself and be you!

7 Answer 2 of 3 questions B1-What details in the poem make it funny? List 25 funny images. B2-Develop categories for your images in B1. Put each image in a category. How are your categories similar and how are they different? B3-Make four generalizations about the funny images from the poem. Share your four ideas with a friend. Each one of you write whether you agree or disagree and why.

9 Complete 2 of 3 activities
Draw a picture for at least five funny images. Write a riddle for each drawing. Share your riddles with a friend. Did they guess what was in each drawing? Write your own " Imagination" poem. Make sure you have four verses. Research "How the brain works". Share at least six facts found in a format of your choice. (Pixie2 storyboard/podcast, PowerPoint, a game, brochure, Comic Life).
