2 This presentation:  is “ready-to-use” for presentations to school division administrators, board members, library personnel, teachers, etc.  incorporates many of the suggestions received during the document development process  provides an implementation model that can be streamlined  provides information regarding implementation supports.

3 Accessing Information: Cataloguing Guidelines for Manitoba and Saskatchewan School Library Personnel:  aligns with international and national cataloguing standards  provides information and examples for cataloguing including the introduction of RDA standards  lays the foundation for an effective division-wide library service  allows for sharing resources or integrated projects.

4 During the past two years extensive consultation included:  working groups of library professionals in both provinces  research and writing by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education  input from a variety of professionals in the fields of school libraries, RDA, and cataloguing.
