2. W HAT ARE P LOT S QUARES ? Plot squares are a more visual way to display the sequence of events (plot) in a story. All elements of the plot diagram are included. Pictures and images, color, and text will all be used in order to display your understanding for a story.

3. S TUDENT O BJECTIVE : Your objective is to display your understanding of the elements of the plot diagram through “The Slip Over Sweater” by making plot squares. You and ONE partner will create this assignment using 16 squares total. Pictures, labeled squares, complete sentences, and color are all MANDATORY for this assignment.

4. E ACH SQUARE SHOULD.. Be labeled (exposition, rising action, climax, etc.) Have a picture 1-3 COMPLETE sentences explaining that part of the plot. Color

The plot squares combined with your Type II Journal will be a major grade on your next Progress Report for the 2 nd 6 weeks Your plot squares are due no later than this Thursday October 11 th.
