The Doctrine Of Sin— Condemnation

“The Explanation” Of Sin

Bull’s-Eye

Sin… To Miss The Mark

Bull’s-Eye The Will Of God

[12] So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

Sin… To Miss The Mark

[4] Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

Bull’s-Eye The Will Of God JUST DO IT!

[14] The law is good, then. The trouble is not with the law but with me, because I am sold into slavery, with sin as my master. [15] I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate.

What I Want!

What I Do!

[16] I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong, and my bad conscience shows that I agree that the law is good. [17] As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

[18] I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. [19] For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing.

[20] Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. [21] So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

I Was Close!

[10] All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

[11] Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." [12] The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them."

OUR ROBES

[17] As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" [18] "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.

[24] What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

“The Extent” Of Sin

[19] Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. [20] Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

[10] As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; [23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…

“The Effects” Of Sin

[23] The wages of sin is death… We Are Condemned We Are Dead We Are Separated

[23] The wages of sin is death… BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

[1] Therefore, there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus.

[38] Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

[39] The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off— for all whom the Lord our God will call."

[41] Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
