2.  Objective: ◦ To differentiate between physical and chemical properties of a substance and compare physical and chemical changes ◦ I need a volunteer to pass back papers  Do Now: ◦ On your Do Now sheet, explain what properties of matter are in your own words and give examples of properties.

3.  Up to 10 points (enough points for 2 and a half DFA’s or homework assignments…)  Complete a worksheet on Density ◦ Put mass and volume information for each substance in a chart ◦ Find the density ◦ Indicate the layer each substance in the graduated cylinder ◦ You have to complete it CORRECTLY to earn the extra points

4.  Some of us need to practice reading and writing measurements of mass on the TBB or of volume in the graduated cylinder  If you did not receive 20/20 on your homework, you should come back to my class at lunch or 4 th period to complete more problems and earn your points.  If you do not come during lunch or 4 th period, I will call your parent.
