10. Literacy Ambassadors There will be a meeting of literacy ambassadors at lunchtime today. In the library 1.30pm This will be to make a plan for activities for after the October holidays. Please let Kat know if you will be unable to attend.

Calling S6!( Sorry – no buddies  ) If you are interested in taking part in the S1 paired reading scheme, please give your name to your Guidance Teacher this Thursday at PSE or see Mrs Watt in the SfL base asap. Training will be given for this very rewarding experience. You will only be required during registration twice a week till Christmas. Thank you!

18. S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them! We are a tournament on WEDNESDAY. If you want to represent the school you must turn up to training on Tuesday. Priority will go to those who do.

19. Dance Camp There are spaces available for the Lasswade High School Dance Camp. Date: 18 th – 20 th March 2016 If you are interested in going on this trip please see Miss Low in the PE department ASAP.

22. Barcelona 2016 Trip Payments Pupils attending this trip must make sure their payments are made as detailed in the your payment cards. To keep your place you must keep payments up to date, there is a waiting list of pupils for any spaces that come available. For all those who are up-to-date with payment – next payment is due by the 31 st October

23. Barcelona Trip June 2016 There is an important meeting on Thursday (8 th October) at 1.30 in room 201. This is a compulsory meeting and all must attend. If you cannot make it please come and see Miss Anstruther or Miss Bigley ASAP.
