4. My School  Attend Belmont State School which has over 900 students  In a suburb of Brisbane  Enjoy English and ICT  Play softball and play the violin

5. What are Australian homes like?  They are often comfortable and have lots of space.  They often have garages or carports for cars.  They often have gardens or yards where we grow plants and grass and have barbecues and hang out the washing.  They sometimes have swimming pools.  Often we know the people who live around us (neighbours!) quite well.

6. My Home  Relatively new brick and tile house in the suburb of Carindale, 5 km from centre of Brisbane.  Small yard across the road from a park where I play with my friends.

7. What do Australians do in their leisure time?  Many Australians live near the coast so we like to go to the beach especially when it is hot.  Many Australians play one or more sports and think sports is very important because we can compete and we get lots of exercise. We watch sports on the television a lot too.  Many Australians like to eat outside and have barbecues because the weather is often fine and sometimes very hot.

8. What are my interests and hobbies? I like to do:  Reading  Running  Swimming  Having fun

9. Favourite foods I like to eat  Seafood  Steak  Hamburgers  Fish and chips My parents say that I should eat more fruit and vegetables because they are healthy!
