4 Ethnicity A group of people whose members identify with each other through a common heritage often consisting of a common ideology that stresses common ancestry Examples: African American Kurd Arab French Not everyone has an ethnicity they identify with, especially in diverse countries

5 Nationality A country of allegiance or national identity Examples: American Chinese Colombian French This can be the same as your ethnicity “If there is a war, who would you fight for?”

6 Religious Group A group of people who adhere to the same religious beliefs Examples: Jews Sikhs Buddhists Mormons Within world religions there are specific divisions Some ethnicities have specific religious groups within them, although some are all one religion Some religious groups are tribal or very specific
