Is human reproductive cloning (HRC) morally different from natural pregnancy? In 2009, Obama claimed human reproductive cloning (HRC) is "dangerous, profoundly wrong, and has no place in our society, or any society.“

New means to relieve the infertility some persons now experience. Kids without transmitting a serious hereditary diseases. Organs/tissues for transplant. Replace a lost important person. Duplicate talented/smart people. Enhance research and advances in scientific knowledge of human development. Psychological distress on clone. Unacceptable risks to clone. Diminish worth of individual and respect for life. Used for commercial interests. Abused by governments and others for immoral purposes.

Is it morally acceptable to use surplus embryonic stem cells (leftovers from an in vitro fertilization treatment) for medical research and/or organ creation? Is it morally acceptable to create embryonic stem cells for medical research and/or organ creation?
