4. Not entertainment & recreation – Acts 2:41-42 But a group of believers following the apostles’ doctrine – Col. 3:16, 4:2; Heb. 10:24-25 Where they are not guessing at what is pleasing to God Nor so focused on their own traditions that God’s Word takes a back seat

5. He said “My church” – Matt. 16:18 Do you think a head does not care what its body is doing? Christ tells us how He would have us live – Gal. 1:6-8 “My church” is not an umbrella term! You can be as religious as possible, but that alone is not enough – 2 John 9

6. If you desire to follow after God, that is good. After all, He is our creator. But do not presume that we (or any man) are in a position to dictate how and when we should serve Him. Thankfully He tells us plainly – John 4:23-24
