2. Sports Rugby Rugby is the main sport at the John Fisher school. It is only really played during the winter term and ends round January. The school is very passionate about rugby and we have several different great rugby coaches to advance the boys skills in the sport. In year seven teams, grouped by ability A-F. Cricket Once the rugby season is over, cricket becomes the main sport of the summer. We are also very passionate about cricket. Athletics Athletics is our other summer sport. There are many events for the athletics but there is also one of our main events of the year available to everybody, sports day.

3. Subjects GCSE By the end of year 9 the students will be able to choose three subjects to take and carry on at GCSE level. They are: Geography History Latin Classics There are also subjects that will be newly introduced such as: Economics Buisness Studies
