1 1/13-Exam Day ●Put all of your belongings in the front of the classroom including cell phones ●You will need a pencil, highlighter and something quietly to do after you are finished

2 Expectations ●I expect you to be quiet during the exam during and after you finish all questions. ●I also expect you to use your testing strategies on the test. ●I want you to circle the questions you had problems with. ●Once you are finished turn in the test and answer sheet to the correct period turn in area

3 Materials needed You will need the following: ●Pencil ●highlighter Backpacks and purses will be put on the front wall. NO CELL PHONES!!!

4 Testing strategies ●Create a timeline of events ●Highlight vocabulary and key terms ●Write notes down in blank spaces ●Identify symbols in drawing/charts ●Cross out the answer choices ●Remain quiet until everyone is finished

5 Warm-up 11/13/14 Test Recap Get your notebook from the back and your test from the green table quickly. Sit and wait quietly for the next steps.

6 Retake If you want to retake your test you will need to come in 4 separate times. First: Test corrections(my signature) Second: T.C. and discussion with me (my signature) Third: Review for the retake (my signature) Fourth: Retake Test

7 Test (by yourself) ●Take 4 minutes and go over the twenty question test. ●Circle the 5 questions that you had a hard time with or you were concern with. ●In your notebook: I had a hard time with question _____ because (it had/I did not)..... (should have 5 of these sentence stem)

8 Partner (A/B) You will turn to your partner and discuss the questions that you had. Each partner will discuss one question at a time (follow the example)(each partner will need to do this 5 times) Partner A: I had a hard time with question ____… Partner B: I also had a hard time with the same question or I did not have a hard time with question… Partner B:I had a hard time with question ____… Partner A:I also had a hard time with the same question or I did not have a hard time with question…
