10 Scary Family Story When my little brother was about 1 year old he had a very dramatic experience with some bags of rice. I was in my room and my little brother Charlie was in the kitchen with my dad who was making dinner. My little brother was just learning how to walk so he was always grabbing things on the counter or the table. Well my dad decided to leave the rice, just out of the microwave, on the counter. My dad left the rice to cool and went to his room. Well all of a sudden you hear a terrible scream and everyone runs to see what happened. Charlie had hot scolding water all over him along with rice all over his face. He was crying really bad. My mom picked him up and my dad got there jackets. They left to the emergency room and didn’t come back until late that night. When I woke up the next morning Charlie had puffy red marks all over his face and shoulders. We spent the next couple months constantly putting gauze on the marks. We also had to keep him from touching them so they wouldn’t scar. Eventually they healed and things went back to normal but we never left hot rice on the counter again. 11 Interesting Family Fact One fact that I find interesting about my family is that me and my brothers are exactly 8 years apart. My older brother is 20 and I am 12. My little brother is 4 and I am 12. If you do the math, then we are exactly 8 years apart. One other thing that is interesting to know is that on my dad’s side of the family I am the only girl.
