2 What you need to know Chemical Engineering is a just like any other branch of Engineering, with the exception of needing to know biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. But you still need to know Mathematics, Science, and Economics, like other Engineering Careers. Chemical Engineering deals with converting raw materials and chemicals into more useful and valuable forms.

3 Qualifications for the job Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering(4-6 years) Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus) Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) Also courses in English, Social Studies, and Humanities Should be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detail oriented, as well as being very social.
