4. Work Packages my suggestion on number:1 per participating institute Does the Tier-1 want a work packages ? Coordinating institute could go without.  Work packages cover all necessary jobs to run a Tier-2  Work should be logically divided into work packages with minimum overlap between the packages  Work packages should be approx. equal in size  Work packages should match the experience of the coordination instiute

5. Collaboration Model for each work package:  Coordinating institute becomes the expert in the WP topic  Develops the necessary software/tools on their Tier-2  Then trains appropriate persons of the other Tier-2s  Provides documentation  Provides support on questions concerning their WP  maximum synergy
