9. Common Groupings So, brackets are a way of grouping values in a calculation: 4  (3 + 2) 3 + 2 must be done first because the brackets are grouping that part of the calculation together Correct answer4  5 = 20 Here are some other common ones... © www.icoachmaths.co.uk2015
